I have fallen in love

over and over and over again, with...Trumer Pilsner. It just makes everything better and definitely helped with my crazy hectic day. So this is going to be short and sweet because I need to get to bed since it is going to be another really long day tomorrow, that and I prefer stalking everyone over actually needing to think of something intelligent to say.  I did come across something today though that just made me laugh.

The craziest part is that Miss Bananas does not even like mustaches! Therefore this is completely ironic and just made me laugh.

The Yankees are in! We won we won!! World Series here we come.  It has been so long that the feeling is unfamiliar but oh yep there it is the feeling of being a winner again. So happy that we are going to the series again! S of course I celebrated with some bubbles.

Oh and ladies did I pick a winner! Marcel did of course notice the new shoes when I put them on and he LOVED them. Yep they are keepers, I just cannot buy anymore for awhile. And my JCrew box finally came, yea for new clothes!

Whoa lots of exclamation points in this one, maybe it is the bubbles?

unpolished silver

Exactly how I feel today, like dull unpolished silver, nothing fantastic.  Work is insanely busy, the apartment is still a mess cause well, M does not care to put anything of his away (ggrr). Seriously being "home" just makes me anxious because it is such a mess. This whole house hunting thing needs to be done so I can go back to stressing about the CPA exam and  how to do it since I am now doing 2 peoples jobs.

Oh how I wish the CPA would be done and I did wayyyy less partying cause now all I do is think about regretting all the debt I had racked up, bu then again I do not regret a single memory I have from those times. So as much as I say I should have done better for my future and prepared myself better and put the CPA behind me and not spent so much on rent, shoes, wine, eating out, taking taxis instead of the bus, the list goes on and on.  I truly cherished the times I had and have an amazing love for San Francisco. Some people love the mountains or the beach, to me the city is and amazing beautiful sight. I do miss all my fantastic care free days, but do I regret moving out of the city? I have not figured that out yet...

back back in cali cali

So M got back from China yesterday, which I am so happy about but his clock is all screwed up and he was up and 1, 2, and 4.  He finally at 4 just got up and stayed up. I probably now have a little insight to what it is like to be a parent (well except the having to get up with him).  He had a very interesting trip from the hooker his client tried to set him up with (I was almost peeing my pants laughing when he told me) to the taxi cab he was in getting into an accident.  He was only supposed to be gone three days and he ended up being gone two weeks.

Oh and you ladiies know how I felt guilty about the shoes, well he did some shopping for me while he was over there, not him, me.  So now I feel even more guilty. Needless to say the shoes are still tucked away in my closet waiting for the perfect time to show him, cause he does know what shoes I have, especially when it comes to those red soles. I will try to get a picture up later of what he brought home cause ladies he did pretty good for not having any fashion sense.  For now I leave you with the shoes I would die to have, yes another pair of Biancas but these ladies uhhh the gray python.  Yummmy.

Found at Net-A-Porter
Off to look at more houses tonight. Wish me luck.

My guilt

So I told you all earlier that I had a lunch time today that lead to pure guilt after. Well here is why:

I have a serious problem, do they have rehab for shoe addicts? M needs to get home from China so that I have something else to do. So as for the serious guilt I feel? I believe that is due to him too.  As we move forward with saving for a house together and pay for a wedding I realize that my spending not only effects me but him as well.  Therefore I need to stop just going and spending a ton of money on a pair of shoes, ugggghhhh life. Somedays I wish I could go back to the irresponsibility of my early 20's, not that it was more fun or anything but I sure cared a lot less which was good and bad but what can you do.  Well I guess I should show you a picture of the actual shoe huh?

The CL Bianca uuuhhhhh drool.

guilty....

Crap the guilt is sinking in... I was really bad today at lunch. I wish it was pouring rain then (as it is now).

Mad Men Madness

So I have another friends 30th B-day party this Friday (geezz when did we get old?). Well this party is a Mad Men theme and we are supposed to dress up like the show, only problem I have never seen the show. Where can I get Mad Men attire by Friday? And just FYI I hate digging through Goodwill when I need it in a hurry.

Candy

This weekend definitely started out on the wrong foot.  I had to work Saturday (it is that time of the quarter, blaaghhh) and I was driving to work and I was almost there and I realized I forgot my badge to get in. So I had to turn around go home and get it, add 2 hours on to my day. I also had to head up to the north bay after for my old bosses 30th birthday.

So on to my actual weekend of today.  I had a busy one.  My mission was to at least clean up the closet. This has been my closet since M and I moved in a couple weeks ago. It has been a mess and frustrates me daily when I am trying to find something to wear.  These pictures were a little disturbing as it finally was sinking in what a mess it was. So I ran errands, did the grocery store and of course my once a week Target run (M said I need a Target intervention). So I off I went to run errands pick up some stuff to try to get me organized.

Of course while running my errands what did I have to wear? My Louboutin shirt of course. (Bathroom photo shoot a la oofa) During my trip running around I decided to run into one of my favorite shoes stores, Foot Candy, and tried on the Louboutin Bianca.  I wish I wish I wish they had it in my size because had they I would be sporting some new gorgeous pumps! But then again I guess they didn't have them for a reason.  So I was wearing the shirt in Foot Candy and they loved my shirt, totally raved about it. Ahh thanks to Miss Liz.

So off I went back home to tackle the closet.  Took forever and I couldn't find my iPod to rock out to some music so that was a little boring. But here is the end result.  Well at least the closet is finally tackled and we can move on to the living room and get that under control because it seriously out of order.  Pictures will not even be had of that because well, its really embarrasing. As for and offer on a house last weekend, another denial, offer number 3 and increasing. Ugghhh

$400K anyone?

Meaning does anyone have that laying around to loan me? Serious house hunting issues. Every time a great one pops up on the market it is snagged up by someone with a cash offer. Seriously who are these people with $400K just lying around? And if you know them can you introduce me. I lost probably what was the best house ever to someone with all cash (insert curse words here). The best part about it, M was going to get a massive man room out of it. I mean it was huge, large enough to turn into a granny flat (with bedroom, bathroom, separate living space and kitchen, I mean fo' reals) and it was going to be allllll his.

So last night I went and checked out some places and found a great one, it was further out then we would prefer but it was great and it had 8,000 sq feet of RV parking. I mean perfect right then M could build the man cave to his specifications with space to do his home brewing and space for him to watch ESPN all day long.

So my attention span changing from house to man cave I googled man cave and got this definition fom the Official Man Cave website (first off I cannot believe they have their own website, AND show):

man cave n. A dedicated area of a house, such as a basement, workshop, or garage, where a man can be alone or socialize with his friends.

So I digress, house hunting sucks and I am tired of looking and M is in China so it sucks even more because he is apprehensive (even though he said well if you like it then I will). I am pretty sure I will be having one of these later:

Either that or some serious amounts of bubbly.

And I didn't forget... I received my first blog award! YEA!

I received this award from the lovely lady over at K. Law.  I have been following before I decided to join this little world of blogging. And this I bestow to other ladies I have followed since before the beginning:
Miss Unbeweavable (we share a passion for the red soles)
My favorite Banana (we also love our red soles as well as beer) - in fact I bestow this to all Louboutin and beer lovers!
and of course Kelly who always has something fabulous to show off! (Those cakes today, gasp).

Addicton

I have serious addiction to Smartees.  Every year I get a bag to bring into work for everyone to eat and everyone year there are three of us who probably eat them all. The biggest problem it is a HUGE bag and I eat them until my tongue is raw.  Serious issues.  Now at this point in the day before lunch time even hits I am on a huge sugar high and my tongue... not feeling to hot.

So as I googgled Smartees to find the fabulous picture here I came across a place in Brooklyn called Blue Ribbon General Store. This place is fantastic, they have dog stuff to candy wax lips to beauty supplies to art work.  What a fun store. Ohhhh box of boogers.  Well this place is fantastic and a great find for wedding maybe. Disclosure: for the candy, I plan to have an assorment of anything people might consider fun, i.e. candy, glow necklaces, mardi-gras'esq masks.  I also found this beer glass for K. Law.  So great. I might need to get one.  I recommend taking a peak at the website if you are looking for anything quirky and fun!

Earring and bracelet debacle

So my brother's wedding is in Florida in T-minus one month and this is my dress for the day.

Now the debate that I am continuing to have is in regards to earrings and bracelets. I don't really like wearing necklaces with halters because it drives me crazy so I thought find some cool longer earrings and some bangle bracelets.  Now the problem is I cannot decide on where to go with it.  Any help is appreciated I am getting down to the wire (yikes) here if I am ordering online.

By the way the shoes are going to be either my silver Choos (seen here) or these gold Stuart Weitzman (which I will also be wearing to my little sisters wedding in April).

mayday mayday it's Monday

Ugghhh, it is Monday again and there is a storm blowing in. In the Bay Area it is supposed to be raining this afternoon (just call me Veronica Corningstone).

I DID have a Monday morning pick-me-up though.  I received a little present (from myself) in the mail:

Yea!!! I am seriously debating going and buying THE boots that I have been stalking. Thanks again Miss Unbeweavable for showing me the light which is this shirt!

Sickkkkk! not like sick but siiiiiiccckkkkk

I LOOOOOOOOUUUURRRRRVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE Fleet week! Every year for a couple days the Blue Angels come to town and this year my office is on the 35th floor looking out at the bay. Not a bad view (the picture was not taken by me although I can get this view out the window).  I love watching the Blue Angels and love the noise. Its like a little kid with candy. So cool.

The best Fleet Week was on a rooftop with barbque and beer in Nob Hill.  Ahhh life in the city. Anyone want to join me for beer and the boys in blue this weekend? Ahhh Oktobeer is the best!

I am alive!

Thank you internet gods, you have arrived and I can finally get back to my daily stalkings of all the fabulous ladies out there. Seriously, what did I do before the internet?  M gets a little jealous over my internet usage but I do not think he knows how many fantastic people I am finding on this little old blogisphere. But tonight I do not have to worry about him giving me a hard time because he left on a jet plane. Yesterday M got a call from his client and tonight he is probably somewhere over the Pacific Ocean on his way to China. So it is party time!!! Little weird that party time used to be out with the girls to the the early morning and now it is surfing the web. Wow how times change.

Anyways, so life is a little busy this week and our "temporary" home is here and sort of unpacked but we do not plan to fully unpack since hopefully this is only for a month or two. The house thing is lame and I just want to find our home.  Who knew it would take so long.

Well I should probably try to get myself some zzzz's but first here is a little picture from Clayton's Oktobeerfest a couple weeke ago.  If you are ever in the Bay area in late September I highly recommend it. I prefer it over the one in the city.

Ahhhhhh beer.  And yes the one in the crazy hat is mine

Fro-yo Friday

So today is just not moving fast enough, the clock keeps telling me we are within the 1 o'clock hour, SERIOUSL??? How long does it take to 2 marks the spot!?!? Seriously loooonnngggesstt week ever. Could have to do with the fact we are still trying to put stuff away from the move, we still cannot find the charger to my camera or my favorite at this moment necklace and we have no internet or cable at home.  This means that going home frazzles me, I still cannot check out the ridiculous photos from last weekends Oktoberfest celebration (still to be determined if they will be shared), I cannot read/comment on all the lovely blogs out there and I did not get to see Grey's last night or Gossip Girl on Monday. Seriously sad week.

Ahhh finally it hit 2! But that was after I went and picked up my favorite fro-yo from Ambrosia. I have to say I have been in a funk since about lunchtime and that is definitely a pick-you-up. And now that it is finally 2 and there are only 3 more hours left of this long week I can start looking forward to tonights Oktoberfest! Hip hip hurray for beer!

Octobeer

So some may know by my previous posts that I am a lover of fine things, I am also a lover of cheap things too (i.e. my love for PBR - the beer for classy bitches).  As noted in my post here I love bubbles, I can drink bubbles by the bottle, it just seems to go down like water.

A few of my favorites include those pictured (all images from google image), pure deliciousness. But since it is Octobeer, it's all about beer this month.  So for that I raise my glass for something other wonderful wonderful drinks.

First and foremost my all around as seen here.

Then we have my go to. I discovered this beer when I was living in the city a couple years back shortly after they opened the brewery in Berkeley. I fell in love and by the way I love this add:

True deal it is a great beer.

Next on the list would be Sierra Nevada's Summerfest. I asked M if when we have a house if I could have this on tap.  So totally scrumptious except it is obviously as the name states only available during the summer.

Another awesome beer but it is no longer available is Skydiver Blond.  Such a shame the brewery shut down but M has done a pretty good one of it since he was able to get the recipe.

There is the look at the life for me this month. Three cheers to Octobeer!
What are your favs?
All images above I found on google image.
